The Khopra Ridge is located away from the busier trails of Annapurna region but provides equally remarkable views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fang and Nilgiri. Another attraction of our trek is the holy Kaire Lake, which requires a little wandering away from the Kopra Ridge.
We begin our trip in Kathmandu with visits to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Next day, we fly to Pokhara, drive to Syauli bazaar and begin trekking from there. We leave the main trail after Tadapani and for the next few days walk along a remote trail while staying at the community tea-houses. The 13-day trip is suitable for those who wish to enjoy the grandeur of Mt. Annapurna while also taking pleasure in the solace of a more remote trail. Complete with unique heritage, culture and breathtaking landscape, the trip will be well worth our time.
Also known as the Khopra Ridge, this moderate, off-the-beaten-track adventure is a peaceful alternative to more popular treks in the region. For nine days you'll climb your way through local villages, terraced farmland, and dense bamboo, oak, pine, and rhododendron forests with rewarding vistas of snow-capped Annapurnas. There are plenty of chances to observe and participate in traditional Nepali lifestyle rituals, including staying in teahouses and taking a day-hike to Kaire, a sacred lake that Hindus believe will help you achieve Nirvana.
Outstanding view of the Machhapuchare and Annapurna Range can be seen from the top of the Khopra Danda(3660m). We get beautiful close up with these mountain peaks. We head back to the Hotel for overnight stay. We come back to the Khopra Danda to capture the beautiful sunrise. We take some photos and have fun for a while and we head towards the view point of Muldai point. From there we can see almost 25 mountains all around us. We encounter various wild animals like deer, Monkey, Yak, Blue Sheep, Monal etc in these areas. We descend down through the beautiful forest up to the Tadapani reaching the Ghandruk afterwards. Ghandruk is a quite large settlement in habituated by the Gurungs located in Annapurna Region.for more details email us at info@teamramadventure.com
