Overview And Highlights

Durations : 10 Days
Activities : Trekking in Nepal

Highlights

  • Closer views of gigantic mountain massifs including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri
  • Off the beaten trekking trail in busy Annapurna Region
  • Chances to interact with locals and learn about their lifestyle, culture and traditions
  • Scenic drive along the giant rivers – Trishuli and Gandaki River

Mahare Danda Trek is a great escape from the busy Annapurna Base Camp Trekking trail that takes you to the peaceful offbeaten paths of Annapurna foothill. Mohare Danda Trek is recently discovered hiking route in the Annapurna Region with the motive of promoting sustainable eco-tourism of Nepal and also supports the local community projects that play vital role in overall upliftment of lifestyle of local peoples.

This trek is also renowned as Eco Community Tea House Trekking and is an ideal choice for the keen trekkers who have a short holiday but wish to explore cultural and natural beauties of Nepal. In addition, Mohare Danda Trek provides the close view of different mountain peaks including Annapurna Mountain Range and Dhaulagiri Massif. Moreover, you can also witness glorious sunrise and sunset views over giant white snow capped glittering peaks during the trek.

The trekking trail traverses through the rolling hills, rivers, mountains and lush forests of Oaks, Bamboo and Pine, which makes your trekking more exciting. Trekking in a steep uphill and downhill trail, crossing the suspension bridges and meeting new faces every day is truly an incredible experience that you must have at least once in a lifetime.

Which season is best for Mohare Danda Trek?

You can plan a trip in any seasons of the year as Mohare Danda Trek is an easy level trekking and doesnot takes you to very high altitude. But, people often select autumn and spring seasons for their trekking season as it offers crystal clear views of mountain peaks and the weather is equally pleasant. Even in the peak trekking seasons of Nepal (autumn and spring), Mohare Danda Trekking route sees less trekkers, thus a solo trekking lover will enjoy the most in this trek.

Difficulty Level

Mohare Danda Trekking is easy as compared to Annapurna Base Camp Trekking and is categorized as moderate level trekking. It doesn’t demands strong physical fitness but a stable health and at least 6 hours per day walking endurance is mandatory.
