The main highlighted destination for paragliding in Nepal is the Annapurna Region, more specifically the Pokhara Valley. The valley is nestled at the foot of high Annapurna Massif and hence offers unsurpassed views here. Moreover, the melted ice of Annapurna Massif has made huge and mesmerizing lakes in the valley namely, Begnas Lake and Phewa Lake.
The flying season in Nepal begins from November to February, while November and December are considered as the best months of the year for Paragliding. The take-off point for Paragliding in Annapurna Region is Sarangkot Hill (1,592m), which also offers the outstanding views of Massif Himalayas, tantalizing sunrise and sunsets, and Pokhara Valley.
Previous experience is not mandatory as our experienced pilots will provide a short briefing before launching. This tour is suitable for the entire novice to expert travelers.
After a pleasant morning in Kathmandu valley, we will start our Dhampus Trekking with a scenic drive to Pokhara valley. Approximately 7 hours of drive takes us to Pokhara. On the trail to Pokhara, we will follow the very beautiful trail enriched with natural wonders. Observing the countryside villages and green lush forests, following the bank of Trishuli River, we will reach Pokhara in late afternoon. Awesome views of Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) and Mount Annapurna waits to mesmerize us in Pokhara.
We will first drive to Sarangkot Hill. It takes approximately 20 minutes in a Jeep to reach there.The hill rewards us with most awe-inspiring mountain views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu, all over 8000 meters.

Cloud Buster
This midday flight gives you the thrill of high flight as we thermal up above Sarangkot in the company of eagles and vultures. It takes from 30minutes to 1 hour. We land by the lake.
Cross Country
This offers you the chance to experience flying from one valley to another. Using thermals, clouds and birds to guide us, we take you on an unforgettable journey north of Pokhara towards the big mountains. We fly as long as we can and aim to return to Pokhara that afternoon.
Acrobatic Flying

See what our world class aero pilots can do with a wing as you loop, spin and spiral through the air. Performing maneuvers are called “Helicopter” “SAT” “Back-fly” “Tumble” and “Wingover”. This 10 to 20 minutes flight will leave you breathless.
Today is most important day of our Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour as we are going to witness the dazzling sunrise view over white Himalayan ranges. Early morning, we will drive to Sarangkot hill and explore magnificent views of Annapurna Massif, Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail), Manaslu and many other high peaks. After spending quality time in Sarangkot we will drive back to Pokhara and take Breakfast. Then we will start visiting the top famous travel destinations of Pokhara Valley including Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda, Seti River George and Barahi Temple.
After having breakfast in early morning, we will either drive or fly to Kathmandu. Driving to Kathmandu takes about 7-8 hours while you can reach there within half hours by flight. Both ways offers you mesmerizing views and makes your travel awesome. The flight cost is however not included in package cost, so you have to pay it separately.
