The Everest Base Camp Trek with a helicopter return to Kathmandu is the ultimate adventure for trekkers who want to experience the legendary Everest region without retracing their steps. Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Your journey begins as you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Our representative from Team Ram Adventure will pick you up and transfer you to a comfortable hotel. In the evening, you will meet your trekking guide and receive a briefing about the trek. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla (2,860m) & Trek to Phakding (2,610m) – 30 min flight, 3-4 hours trek

An early morning flight to Lukla offers stunning views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, you will begin your trek towards Phakding, passing through scenic landscapes and crossing several suspension bridges. Overnight at a teahouse.

Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – 5-6 hours trek

You will trek through beautiful pine forests and cross the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge before reaching Namche Bazaar, the bustling gateway to Everest. Here, you can explore local markets and visit the Sherpa Museum. Overnight at a lodge.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

To adjust to the altitude, you will take a short hike to Everest View Hotel, which offers panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. You may also visit the local monastery or explore the vibrant town of Namche. Overnight at a lodge.

Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m) – 5-6 hours trek

Today's trek offers stunning views as you make your way to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the region. Here, you can witness Buddhist rituals and enjoy breathtaking scenery. Overnight at a teahouse.

Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m) – 5-6 hours trek

As you ascend, the landscape changes to alpine terrain with spectacular views of the mountains. You will reach Dingboche, a picturesque village surrounded by high peaks. Overnight at a teahouse.

Day 7: Trek to Lobuche (4,940m) – 5-6 hours trek

Passing through the memorial site of climbers who lost their lives on Everest, you will trek towards Lobuche. The views of Pumori and Nuptse are magnificent. Overnight at a lodge.

Day 8: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) & Return to Gorak Shep (5,164m) – 7-8 hours trek

This is the most awaited day! You will trek to Everest Base Camp, where you can witness the Khumbu Icefall and experience the thrill of standing at the base of the world’s highest mountain. After spending time at EBC, you will return to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) & Helicopter Return to Kathmandu

Early morning, you will hike to Kala Patthar for the best sunrise views over Everest. After capturing breathtaking photos, you will board a helicopter and fly directly back to Kathmandu, enjoying aerial views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu

After a memorable journey, our team will drop you off at the airport for your flight back home.

Cost of Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return

The cost for this trek varies depending on the services and season but generally ranges between $2,500 to $3,500 per person. This includes permits, accommodation, meals, guides, porters, domestic flights, and the helicopter return.
