Categories of rivers based on their difficulty level

Class 1 River: These have slow moving current with very little or no obstacles.

Class 2 and 3 River: These rivers are generally fast moving with some obstacles and smaller to medium size rapids.

Class 4 River: These have long, continuous section of white water and large waves that requires strong paddling and good teamwork in the boat while rafting.

Class 5 River: These rivers have powerful prolonged section of rapids and big holes, which requires very strong paddling, good team work and some previous rafting experience.

Class 6 River: These are very tough rivers and considered to be almost impossible to run.
